    Obviously, your mind has been poisoned by an overdose of science. It has
destroyed your faith. To a true BELIEVER, it is easily conceivable that
radioactive plumes can "bounce", and by some supernatural guidance, can
avoid descending to earth wherever they might encounter a monitoring
station.  I'll bet you don't believe in the Easter Bunny either.
