questions about back ground
Dear Sir:
1. What are the critirias of using twice or trice the back ground to release
a site or not during a survey. Would you refer to NRC Regulations or States
regulations?
2. Several housings of HEPA filters that are in usage of ten years using
radioactive materials. Are there any protocols to open them?. What would
hapen if these are not followed ?
3. Could you you rely on a survey taken without feild determination of the
efficiency of the surveymeter?
4. Two Surveys are taken for the same site that differ from each other about
500% Like 8000cpm and 50,000cpm. What would be the source of discrepancies?
