FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Nuclear Waste Problem Solved
(Cayce, SC-May 16, 2000)- Applied Radwaste Management Inc.
(http://appliedradwaste.com) online solves one of the major problems
associated with radioactive materials. As a public service, Applied Radwaste
Management Inc. is offering a free (exclusive of standard internet service
fees and long distance telephone service (if applicable)) downloadable
training module for shippers' of radioactive materials.
This module is designed for hospitals, universities, and other organizations,
that do not regularly attend of the regional "Radioactive Materials Transport
Seminars" offered in the United States. Rough estimates indicate that only
1900 of the 21,000 organizations licensed to use radioactive materials attend
regional "Radioactive Materials Transport Seminars". As part of this use,
many organizations unknowingly violate federal laws by placing these
materials in commerce.
In an effort to protect the public, by increasing awareness of the federal
regulations governing the transportation of radioactive materials, Applied
Radwaste Management is pleased to offer this training module to all
organizations involved with radioactive materials. For download details see
http://appliedradwaste.com.
Incorporated in 1994, to provide training (and only training) for
organizations that place radioactive material in transport, in accordance
with United States Department of Transportation and United State Nuclear
Regulatory Commission regulations. Applied Radwaste Management is
consistently rated as the top Radioactive Material Transportation and
Disposal Training companies in the United States by seminar attendees.
There will be an online, media only, event/interview with Charles Smith,
president of Applied Radwaste Management, Inc., May 18, 2000 10:00 EST at
http://appliedradwaste.com/media .
