Environmental Health and Radiation Safety Department of Temple University located in Philadelphia, PA, has an immediate opening for an Associate Health Physicist/Industrial Hygienist.

Qualifications: Bachelor's of Science degree in a related field or science required.  One year experience in operational health physics and industrial hygiene at an academic institution, or at least six years of experience in operational health physics and industrial hygiene at an academic institution required.  Excellent math and computer skills are required.  Excellent oral and written communication required.

Duties: Under the direction of the Director, responsible for performing all surveys and analyzing materials from laboratories and performing required health physics and industrial hygiene duties according to the Environmental Health and Radiation Safety Guidelines.  The incumbent will Implement University programs to ensure compliance with city, state and federal laws, regulations and recommendations associated with use of hazardous chemicals and radioactive materials.  The incumbent will also be responsible for providing training to Assistant Health Physicist/Industrial Hygienist staff on the department's policies and procedures.
