Greetings:

Harris Nuclear Plant has experienced problems with floor contamination which
appear to have been caused by the flow of air through the floor drain
system. The flow is due to differential pressure between
buildings/elevations. We have started a program of routinely filling loop
seals where these exist in the drains, but not all of the drains have this
type of seal.

We would appreciate your response to the following:

1. Have you experienced similar problems?

2. If you have, what have you been able to do to eliminate/mitigate the
problem?
