RSI Incident Documentation
RADSAFE Colleagues
Several of you have asked about documentation of the Radiation Sterilizers, Inc. (RSI) irradiator incident in 1988 in Decatur, GA. As I mentioned in an earlier posting, NRC published a NUREG document on the incident. The citation is as follows:
NUREG-1392, "Leakage of an Irradiator Source: The June 1988 Georgia RSI Incident", February 1990. The document should be available from NTIS.
