Re: Exempt Quantity for Co-57?

Radsafers:

10 CFR Part 20, Appendix C, lists the quantities of licensed material which require labeling and 10 CFR 30.71, Schedule B, lists exempt quantities. Most, but not all of the quantities listed in these two tables are equal.

Co-57 is regulated by the State, not NRC. Despite this fact Appendix C indicates that 100 microcuries of Co-57 requires labeling. Schedule B does not mention Co-57?

Have the States established an exempt quantity for Co-57? Is the value 100 microcuries as might be predicted? Are all of the States in agreement with this value?
