Coal power emissions

How do you deal with the fly ash in US?
In Denmark it is spead around.
In Sweden we have very little of coal power only some 300MW in a plant in Stockholm City. The fly ash go to a shallow land disposal outside Stockholm.
Due to emissions and the ash problems you cannot site a coal power plant in Sweden any longer in opposition to Germany where coal power now is the future of electric production.
