Yes, you are right. But I suppose you counted it by gamma-spectrometry in
fresh high-active waste.... With this extremely low-yield gamma ray and the
very low Ge-detector efficiency the only practical way to measure Sr-89 is
the measurement of the beta rays, preferentially by liquid scintillation
spectrometry.
