LINAC info needed?
To "Neon John" in Cleveland, Tennessee and others who may need information about linacs:
A linac will be part of DOE's Spallation Neutron Source (SNS), scheduled for completion around 2004. The American Physical Society (SNS) has an article about the SNS linac on line at http://www.aps.org/apsnews/0500/050009.html (May 2000 edition of the APS News). SNS has a key contacts web site at http://www.sns.gov/contacts/keycontacts.htm, and the Accelerator Systems Division has a number of folks listed; try a few and maybe you'll hit the goldmine. I think Oak Ridge is closer to you than Georgia Tech (grin).
