As long as your mice live a long and happy life, go on and make 'em. I'd agree with what you say here, except that
the question would be: how long is "eventually"? Do we keep piling up tons of nuclear waste until "eventually" the problem is solved? Do we keep using coal and nuclear for power generation until "eventually" global warming and radiaition issues are solved, or do we insist on massive investments in green/alternative forms of energy. I agree that radsafers care
about the public; we just have some different perceptions of things.
