My first idea is to simply measure Th-227 with gamma spec (in
material undisturbed for about 18 weeks Ac-227 and Th-227 should be in
secular equilibrium). Make sure you don't confuse the 256.3 keV Th-227
gamma peak with the 258.8 keV Pb-214 peak.
