The above is not a correct delineation of the current USA 
regulations. The current limit only pertains to the annual dose 
limits. There is no life-time dose limit, and, there is no dose limit 
covering a certain time period, other than the annual period. The 10 
rem over a 5 year period is an NCRP recommendation, and, a limit 
implemented in many European countries.
