staff Health Physicist.

Full-time Research Scientist I to provide engineering/health physics support
and assist in research for the implementation of the radiation protection
program.  The program consists of a broad scope radioactive materials
license and a hot cell facility.  Duties include gamma spectroscopy,
environmental monitoring, instrument calibration, contamination surveys,
dosimetry, campus radioactive waste management, and HP monitoring for hot
cell activities.  Must have excellent computer skills.  Should have M.S. in
Health Physics or B.S. in Radiological Engineering, or equivalent.
Educational background must have included coursework in nuclear engineering,
nuclear physics, dosimetry, radiological assessment, and radiation
protection.
