LD50 for various animals (preliminary summary)

First thanks to those who repsonded to my LD50 question for various
organisms. What I obtained so far is essentially what follows below. I
should however mention that the original sources were to some extent unclear
but on the other hand - the same numbers showed up from different directions
so I assume that the data below shouldn't be too far off (unless repeated
mistakes or same erroneous reference?).

I had hoped to spend some time analyzing more sources but since several
Radsafers already asked for a summary - I give what I have so far (this is
most but I have omitted a few details). The list should probably be
interpreted as "orders of magnitude and approximate ranges" rather than as
some exact numbers. I will later also post the same (and perhaps updated
summary) on my website as a reference. I have in a few cases simplified
(like round-off) the information I got.

Most species are, as you can see, not defined more precisely (this is quite
disturbing - take the difference between wasp and roach for instance - there
are probably at least hundreds of different roach species living in very
different environments - and who knows how many differents wasps there
are?).

If anything seems wrong - please let me know. It is important to keep the
data as correct as possible.

Data that were labeled "Sv" ("rem") have been interpreted as "Gy" ("rad").
Hope the translation into rad won't be a killer (LD50?) if necessary. Who
has data for plants BTW?
