Probably grammatically correct.
"ide" is used to indicate a compound of a "metal " and a "non-metal", e.g. 
sodium and fluorine = sodium floride, barium and oxygen = barium oxide, 
calcium and chlorine = calcium chloride.
For those more correct electron donors and acceptors.
