Alpha stopping powers and ranges etc
Dr Charles and list members,
It is some time since I had a play around with this package but I believe
that you may find the TRIM /SRIM software by Ziegler useful. You can down
load it at http://www.research.ibm.com/ionbeams/home.htm#SRIM . It will give
ranges stopping, powers, etc for a range of ions in a set of standard or
user defined materials (or layers of materials). It is well documented and
easy to use.
I hope this is some help. (apologies if I have missed any previous postings
already recommending SRIM)
