Are you aware that about a quarter of American casualties in the Gulf
War were from friendly fire?  I guess their families figured it was the
price of patriotism, at least I haven't heard of any lawsuits over it. 
To me, these lawsuits demean the sacrifice of those that were killed.

The awful things we send our young men and women to do--why haven't we
developed the robotic soldier yet?
