Re: pitch blend



Pitchblend is uranium ore, which may contain more than 60% natural U ( I saw
such samples at high grade U mines in Saskatchewan).  In the ore, U and all
its decay procucts are in radioactive equilibrium down to stable Pb-206 from
U-238 and stable Pb-207 from U-235.
