(The fine print...the usual, standard disclaimers apply.)
The CHP Exam Distance Study Group (Group) is a "virtual" study group. The
group will meet via cyberspace to study and prepare for Parts I and II of
the American Board of Health Physics (ABHP) Certification Examination or
the CHP Exam. Past participants in the Group have been geographically
distributed throughout the US and Canada.
The primary purpose of the Group is to provide a forum and focused study
cohort for those who may not have access to formal or informal CHP Exam
study groups or courses. Anyone interested in sitting for the CHP Exam
is welcome to participate in the Group. There are no charges or fees for
participation in the Group.
The Group will provide participants with opportunities to come together to
share expertise, study materials and resources to support participants'
efforts to achieve their common goal: to pass the CHP Examinations and
become Certified Health Physicists. The Group will engage in continuous
discussion of questions, theory, resources, and references related to the
various exam rubrics as well as discussion of study tips and problem
solution methods.
Communication is primarily through e-mail and the CHP Exam Distance Study
Bulletin Board at the AAHP web site at http://www.hps1.org/aahp/.
Secondary communication can also take place through telephone, fax, chat,
or snail mail.
The Group will run from January 8, 2001 through June 8, 2001.
