NSSI currently accepts all types of Tritium targets, foils, and metal sorber
beds for recovery of the Tritium content. Recovery involves thermal
desorption of the Tritium and capture on depleted Uranium. Recovered Tritium
is ultimately treated through an isotope separation unit for reuse as high
purity Tritium for organic labeling, etc.
