in Europe we have a new
frightening risk, which might be even worse than the risk of being exposed to a
nSv/1million years - it is BSE. Nobody really can confirm that BSE can be
transferred to human beings resulting in the Creutzfeld-Jacob-Syndrome - though
I admit that there are some indications. Nobody knows about the probability and
nobody puts it into perspective with other diseases which may be induced by
other means. Finding a few cows with the BSE-disease ruins the whole
beef-market, urges the German authorities to withdraw sausages from the market
etc.
Is it really so much worse than
nuclear power?
