Price-Anderson Rumor

All,

I am hoping that someone on RADSAFE might be able to answer a question 
about the Price-Anderson reauthorization status.

The University Research Reactor community is hearing rumblings that 
Price-Anderson reauthorization may mean trouble.  One concern is that the 
exemption from civil penalties may be dropped due to the problems at the U 
of CA at Los Alamos.

Can anyone squelch, clarify, or confirm this?  Obviously, this would have 
an impact on our operating budgets.
