Help!!!

RadSafers:

OK. I'm looking at the "old" and the "new" HP Manuals of Good Practices for
Uranium Facilities (not exact title, but close enough). In the comparison
of chemical and radiological hazards, each manual starts with the same
toxological criteria, metabolic models and rad limits. However, they derive
different results.

Before I spend a bunch of time dissecting the calculations, can someone
simply tell me the answer why?

One inconsistency I've already noted in the "new" manual is footnote (a) of
Table 2-12 erroneously quotes ICRP-30. The Class-W isotopic uranium ALI
values do not differ in ICRP-30. I think the correct reference here should
be FGR No. 11.

Any help appreciated.
