Re: Session on I-131 at ACPM's Upcoming Annual Meeting

I have received several questions regarding registration for the Iodine-131
case study session at ACPM's upcoming annual meeting (as described in the
e-mail below). I have discussed registration with our meeting planner and
am pleased to announce that we will be able to offer complimentary
registration to the I-131 session through our cooperative agreement with the
Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry for those who worked on the
I-131 case study or those dedicated to the cause of I-131 education. We
will not be able to reimburse for travel to Miami, however, or for hotel
costs you may incur should you chose to stay over. Also, you would need to
register and pay for other sessions or meetings events you choose to attend.

Please contact me directly at jdc@acpm.org or 202-466-2044, ext. 107 if you
are interested in registering for the meeting or the session. Information
on the meeting can be found on-line at www.PreventiveMedicine2001.org

Also, I wanted to apologize for an oversight in my previous message. In
citing the Iodine-131 case study, I failed to mention the vital role that
the American College of Medical Toxicologists and ACMT members have played
in the development of the case study that will be discussed at the session
on Feb. 22. ACMT was primarily responsible for developing the case study
content, and the case study and session at ACPM's annual meeting certainly
would not have been possible without them.

Thanks again to all, and I look forward to an informative and successful
session in Feb. Please let me know if you have any questions.
