Record US gas prices breathe life into nuclear power

I tend to agree with Jim. Given (1) a president that will not irrationally
oppose all efforts to solve the waste problem, using "bait and switch"
techniques to frustrate good faith efforts in that area (as well as the law,
I might add), (2) the new energy secretary, and (3) public opinion polls
showing less intolerance for nuclear technologies, I am optimistic that
there is a chance now for at least a reasoned dialogue on the subject.
