Shielding windows are looking for a new home

Radsafers,

We make considerable progress with the decommissioning of our Hot-Cell
Building. A few days ago we remounted the shielding windows. These windows
are looking for a new home, otherwise we throw the windows into the waste.
So we give these windows away to everybody who take the costs for shipping.

Each window consists of a steel frame in which three single glass windows
are mounted. The outer surface of the steel frame and the glass windows are
free of contamination. Since we are not able do dismantle the single glasses
from the frame we have to assume a small contamination within the gap
between the frame and the glasses (in the kBq range). That means everybody
who wants these windows need a license to handle this small amount of
activity.

There are to different types of windows. Type SF 535 ( 6 x available, weight
each 3,8 metric tons) und Type SF 536 (4 x available, weight each 3,2 metric
tons).
