Senior Health & Safety Specialist
BioNumerik Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a company that utilizes
the power and sophistication of supercomputing to design
novel drugs for the treatment of cancer, currently has a
Senior Health and Safety Specialist position available.
The successful candidate will be responsible for
developing, implementing and monitoring the industrial
health and safety programs within the company and ensuring
compliance with all company policies and federal and state
regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining safety
related records, conducting periodic audits and
coordinating and/or conducting in-house safety training.
This position requires a B.S. degree in a scientific
discipline, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent and at least
5 years of experience in industrial safety. Knowledge of
OSHA regulations and excellent communication skills are
essential. Experience in the areas of chemical, biological
and radioactive safety in an R&D environment required.
Knowledge of GLP is a plus.
