Re: "Legally" Correcting a Record



While the reference to 10 CFR 835 is correct, the reliance on a guidance may 
be to the detriment of the individual requesting or making the retroactive 
correction.  If a subsequent entry is made into a document at the direction 
of an auditor, what is the basis for demonstrating that the modification to 
the record is accurate?  Perhaps an independent verification of the 
subsequent modification would be beneficial.
