Outage Respirator Technician



Indian Point 3 is currently seeking a Respirator Technician to support our

refueling outage. Duration of the assignment will be ~ 5 - 6 weeks beginning

~ 4/10/01. Individual qualifications include experience with fit testing

using TSI Portacount equipment, respirator (MSA) mechanical maintenance and

repair, and cleaning/sanitizing. The individual should also be familiar with

OSHA rule 29CFR1910.134 and operation of PAPR's, PD Respirators, Bubblehoods

and Air purifying respirators. This position is a contractor position paying

$20/hr with $75/day per diem. Overtime up to 32 hrs per week in addition to

regular 40 hours may be required. Interested individuals may contact Tom
