RE: two purposes



Email  is not always sent immediately,  quite often it will sit on a server and is sent as a batch on a time schedule or when a certain amount builds up.  Some mail programs check for new mail the same way.  I usually get the original post before any follow up.  USUALLY.  part of this may be because my mail client  orders the messages chronologically and I check it infrequently.  The weirdness I don't understand is why I'll sometimes get duplicate messages sent at the nearly the same time only seconds apart.  More often than double clicking would indicate.
