watchwords

Remember the "From" bug? I'm not sure if that problem still exists on this

list, but there's another word to watch - (I will misspell it slightly)

"sbscrbe". If you use this word in a post, the message will "bounce" to me

for approval, because the server thinks someone is trying to "sbscrbe". Some

posts for example have said "This is a position to which I do not sbscrbe".

Fine English, but a problem for the computer. So if you just avoid this, it

will avoid bouncy messages. I will of course approve this type of message,

but there will be a delay in your post.

I think that the attachment filter is working now, as messages with

attachments are also being bounced to me for review. These will not be

approved, but returned with a suggestion to include the text of any

attachment in the e-mail or else not send it.

I will be at meetings for the next 10 days in Europe (sympathy e-cards

accepted at youpoorthing@europe.com). I will try to keep up with e-mail

remotely, but there may be delays in answering some requests, so please be

patient.
