With some good research - the clay could be "recycled" on a TENORM 

commercial basis between spa institutions and "radium problem areas". What 

happens if about 3 M HCl is poured over a "good" radium clay column? Or a 

fluidized bed system may be even better with a tube directly connected to a 

neutralizing bath and then on to those who want to inhale the stuff to get 

their daily dose.
