Bear in mind that your dosimetry service doesn't *know* what the actual 

source was, they're only making assumptions, based on their standard 

algorithms for interpreting the data.  If you're *sure* that the exposure 

was only to diagnostic x-rays, I would call your service provider, and ask 

for a re-read of the data, based on that information.  Under some 

conditions of energy mixrtures, angularity of scatter, etc., diagnostic 

x-rays can *look* like betas, to the reading machines.  Please let us know 

what develops.
