The worse news is, that they have also lived together in peace for a greater

number of centuries. Why so many wars every other while? Because all the

population groups you are talking about are stupid enough to be easy

pray of criminals who invariably have been governing the region

for centuries... Not only this region, I am tempted to insert.

I think the US is simply wasting resources here. OK, perhaps their people are

learning evil from the masters of the latter who are in control around. I cannot

really judge wether the lessons are worth the price paid - nor am I a US tax

payer to be that concerned about it :-) .

I am sure many of the listmembers will get stunned by the quantity of Balkan media

talks - and popular engagement of the same public who 'is willing to stay in a

queue for lottery tickets' - about "strategic", "global" interests of the "great

powers" etc... 

 Never in history has there been such a wide gap between the lowest and highest

human  intellect - and we have yet to see further widening.  Any ideas where the 

settling point will be?...
