Hi All,

What is this "This isn't published in a peer-reviewed journal?!" all about?

I always thought that if you are a member of the society involved or are

introduced by a member of the society, you can speak about your recent work,

peer-reviewed or not! That is the purpose of oral presentations or of poster

sessions: Direct personal contact!

Maybe I have missed something along the way, but that ANS chair sounds

incredibly authoritarian. I would be quite insulted were this to happen to me

as a speaker or sponsor.

Strange!
