First, I think that ANS is the American Nuclear Society, a private organization

whereas NRC is indeed a government bureaucracy.

I don't care what an NRC chairman says, I can even see that he would like a

peer-reviewed paper for inclusion in some report.  But I still don't have to

like it.

An ANS chairperson is a completely different thing.  He is responsible to his

organization (and that is us!) - again, unless I have missed something - that

reaction and his peer-review demand sounds irresponsible to me.

Second, according to TED's earlier e-mails, there seem to be two Taiwanese

persons involved.  A Dr. Chang and a Dr. Luan.  Jim Muckerheide's mail yesterday

gives the details in the attachments.
