Re: Co-60 contamination incident
John,
First, I think that ANS is the American Nuclear Society, a private organization
whereas NRC is indeed a government bureaucracy.
I don't care what an NRC chairman says, I can even see that he would like a
peer-reviewed paper for inclusion in some report. But I still don't have to
like it.
An ANS chairperson is a completely different thing. He is responsible to his
organization (and that is us!) - again, unless I have missed something - that
reaction and his peer-review demand sounds irresponsible to me.
Second, according to TED's earlier e-mails, there seem to be two Taiwanese
persons involved. A Dr. Chang and a Dr. Luan. Jim Muckerheide's mail yesterday
gives the details in the attachments.
Best regards
Fritz
