RE: electronic dosimeter for patient dose from fluoroscopy

I believe the type you are looking for is a transmission ion chamber that

would be attached to the x-ray unit to provide a continuous monitoring of

the patient's exposure. Gammex RMI sells a transmission ion chamber that

can be seen at http://www.gammex.com/Dap.html. Another option is offered by

PTW at http://www.ptwny.com/products.html#diamentors, which has a sales

office in New York

Subject: electronic dosimeter for patient dose from fluoroscopy

We are looking for commercially available electronic dosimeters to monitor

patient dose during

fluoroscopy procedures. Would like vendor contact information for the

dosimeters you like. Please

contact me directly at smeiners@sec-tn.com.

Thanks.

Steve
