Description: Instructional workload estimated
at 60% Health Physics and 40% HazMat/Industrial Safety. Teaching
assignments to include associate degree Health Physics Technician courses
including curriculum development. Teaching methods include classroom
instruction, CD-ROM/internet instruction, and regularly scheduled lab
activities. Additional teaching assignments include contract and seminar
training for clients in business and industry. Assist in maintaining
the College's Health Physics web page. Instructional schedules are
flexible based on the needs of the program.
Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Health
Physics or related field, two years of recent related occupational
experience, advanced computer skills, effective written and oral communications
skills. Must meet the Wisconsin Technical College System certification
requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: One year of full-time teaching
and curriculum development. Experience in alternative methods of
instruction such as instructional television and internet delivery. Well
motivated with a strong interest in contributing to the success of the
College.
