search those funky archives

A Radsafe archive search feature is now available. It does simple keyword

searches by month. One problem I encountered with this search engine is that

it saw all of the old archives as having equivalent dates, i.e. the date of

creation on the new server in March 2001. Thus a full search gave you hits

all the way back to the beginning (1993) with no particular date ordering,

which I thought was not too useful. So I put in a feature that allows you to

select either a full archive search (1993-2001) or any particular month; if

you want multiple months, you will just have to do multiple searches. It

does not do AND/OR keyword searches at present - this may or may not be

added later. It's better than straight browsing, anyway, so try it out, and

let me know if you encounter any problems. As a reminder, the address is:

I submitted this a couple of weeks ago to several search engines for

inclusion in their databases, but the hit rates do not seem to be very high

yet. Any help that you can offer to update others' web page pointers, etc.
