A group of Puerto Rican Marine Archeologists working near their island
suspect
radioactive contamination coming from some sunken barges. They have asked how
to measure radioactivity emanating from submerged material. They have regular
instruments for measuring radioactivity, but nothing for use underwater.
Someone said that Ludlum has a waterproof probe with a 100 ft long cable.
Does anyone have any other ideas/suggestions? Thank you all. Ed
