Anyone who thinks that decisions made today, that won't take effect 

for another 20 years, is simply dreaming. Political parties change, 

the environment changes, the economic changes, and the public opinion 

changes, regarding any issue. In the case of Germany, the Greens are 

simply placating the public. The rhetoric has nothing to do with the 

reality of the energy demand. It is pure fiction.



My own opinion .. nuclear power plants are NOT going to be shutdown 

in many of these countries for one simple reason. They haven't 

developed anything to replace the power! Pure and simple.
