Re: lochbaum on nrc website

Cousin B,

Here's some of Dave's bio: he has 17 years of experience in nuke power - Hope

Creek/Salem; Brunswick;

Perry; Limerick; Susquehanna; Wolf Creek; Haddam Neck; and others. In 1992 he and a

colleague identified

deficiencies in spent fuel cooling at Susquehanna, and forced the NRC to require

safety improvements.

He has a BS in Nuke Engineering from Univ of Tennessee. He's a memebr of ANS since

1978. Prior to joining UCS in 1996, he served as Senior Engineer for Enercon

Services, System Engineer for General Technical Services, Reactor Engineer for the

TVA, BWR Instructor for GE and Junior Engineer for Georgia Power.

In addition: UCS and Dave are NOT, repeat NOT, anti-nuclear. They are PRO-SAFETY.

You may disagree

with how they go about being pro-safety, but they are. Dave's job is "Nuclear

Safety Engineer" for UCS.

So, if UCS ever were able to reach their goal of making nukes safe, I'm sure

someone would hire Dave.

If not, there's always Burger King! ;-)
