I don't recall an article, but this was mentioned to me in a context of

emergency responders: a bucket of tincture and a paintbrush, and each

responder gets 'painted' as they go past.



Although ... the suggester was nicknamed "Weird Frank" :-)

I seem to remember reading somewhere that I can be administered by

rubbing tincture of I on the skin.  The degree of protection was not as

great but still offered some protection.  Does anyone else recall such

an article.
