Consumer Reports Newsletter on Health reported on Anti-radiation use of Vitamin C.

They jumped all over some vitamin products that were being sold in airport stores to protect against in-flight radiaition and pointed out how there was no significant risk from low-level radiation. I still have a copy of the article.

Contact the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute, USUHS, Bethesda, MD, at http://www.afrri.usuhs.mil/.  We did lots of work involve radioprotectants including Vitamin C.  It's funny how none every made it into the field.
