chloroform - LNT

Greetings all!



Good news! The LNT is loosing! The SAB (scientific advisory board) has thrown out the LNT for chloroform.  Chloroform is a disenfection by-product (DNB) of chlorination of drinking water. In other words, they have said that the human body, yes even children, can tolerate chloroform in drinking water and that it was not of concern (no additional risk).  I will report more details on Monday. Although not a direct RAD issue - I thought that many would be interested.
