Re: chloroform - LNT

Chloroform gives rise to liver and kidney tumors in animals following oral 

intake. It seems reasonable to assume that it can act as a promoter 

(membrane interaction - lipophilic). I am not aware of any studies which 

shows reactions breaking covalent bonds (can anyone comment?).
