photon backscatter

Is anyone interested or willing to discuss photon backscatter, and in 

particular the "ambient dose equivalent" defined in ICRU-43?



Briefly, I have been running MCNP, trying to reproduce the ICRU-43 results, 

and either I am missing the point or ICRU-43 should be revisited.
