Position Announcement at Georgia Tech



HEALTH PHYSICIST (Radiological Engineer or Equivalent) POSITION IMMEDIATELY

AVAILABLE at Georgia Institute of Technology.

     A full time staff health physics position is currently available at

Georgia Tech.  The position requires, as a minimum, a BS in Health Physics

or a related field with preference given to persons having an MS degree,

board certification and/or experience.

     The selected individual would provide health physics support to

academicians and scientists within the scope of a broad radioactive

materials license including hot cell operations.  Responsibilities include

monitoring, calibration, dose assessment, and regulatory interphase.  The

candidate should have excellent computer skills, personal interactive

ability, and implicit interest in scientific research.

     Georgia Tech offers a comprehensive benefits package including 4 weeks

vacation per year, medical and dental plans, state or private annuity plans

and an opportunity for further study.  Salary ranges from $40K-60K.  Georgia
