Fw: Ship Yard Workers - John Boice

Ted,

I guess your statement that only peer reviewed reports are included in the

NCRP was wrong. That is why I asked if you had read the report.

As usual, I find your statement about why the NSW report was referenced to

be typical of you biased opinions about studies that disagree with you

agenda, i.e., if it does not agree, it is wrong.

I am not an epidemiologist, but do have enough common sense and do not

believe in conspiracies. If a review of the report says there is a question

of selection bias, I would think that is a valid statement. If another

group of "expert" epidemiologist disagree, then the study is obviously not

strong enough in the first place to convince both sides. Evidence should

not be based on opinion, but the strength of the unbiased data used to reach

the conclusion.

Have a nice holiday.

It was referenced merely to brush it off with the invalid and unsupported

charge of "selection bias." There was no attempt to discuss or refute the

data or conclusions. I can assure you that I read the report thoroughly.
